Indications:
- treatment and control of allergic dermatitis (FAD) caused by flea bites in dogs;
- prevention and treatment of infestations with malophagous lice Trichodectes canis in dogs;
- the monthly treatment is recommended if there is a high risk of repeated flea infestations, if the dogs are allergic to flea bites and in case of necessary tick infestation control or when frequent baths are taken with hypoallergenic shampoos or softening.
Composition:
Fypryst Dog S (2-10 kg) - 1 Pipette (0.67 ml) containing 67 mg fipronil.
Administration method:
Remove a pipette from the triple pack.
Hold the pipette in a vertical position with the tip up and unscrew the pipette cap.
With the other end of the stopper thus removed, pierce the pipette seal.
Remove the animal's hair from the midline between the backs to make the skin visible.
Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and press the tube several times to be emptied directly onto the skin.
The product is effective against flea infestations for 2 months and against ticks for a maximum of 4 weeks, depending on the degree of environmental infestation.
Fleas are eradicated within 24 hours of infestation.
Precautions:
Avoid contact of the product with the animals' eyes.
It is important to apply the product in a safe place where the animal cannot lick and animals must be avoided to lick each other.
There is a possibility that not all ticks will be eliminated.
Thus, it is impossible to completely exclude infection with diseases transmitted by ticks, in unfavorable conditions.
Ticks will die on the host between 24 and 48 hours after infestation without feeding on the animal's blood.
Domestic animal fleas frequently invade their beds, where the animals sleep and rest, places that must be regularly treated with appropriate insecticides and cleaned with a vacuum cleaner, in case of massive infestations or when preventive measures are applied.
The product Fypryst spot-on solution can be applied to breeding females and pregnant females, as well as lactating females.

This veterinary medicinal product does not require special storage conditions.
The product can irritate the mucous membranes and the eyes.
Avoid contact of the product with the mouth and eyes.
Animals and people with hypersensitivity to insecticides or alcohol must not come into contact with Fypryst spot-on solution.
Avoid direct hand contact with the product. In case of accidental contact, wash your hands with soap and water.
Do not touch the treated animals and do not let children play with them until the place of application of the product has dried. Thus, it is not recommended to apply the treatment during the day, but in the evening before going to bed.
Do not smoke, drink or eat while applying the product.
Contraindications:
Due to insufficient data regarding the use of the product in puppies less than 8 weeks old or weighing less than 2 kg, do not administer the product to them.
Do not administer the product to sick animals (systemic diseases, fever) or to those in convalescence.
Do not administer the product to rabbits due to the risk of serious adverse reactions or even death.
Do not give cats the products intended for dogs, as overdose may occur.
Side effects:
If the animals lick themselves, short-term hypersalivation may occur, mainly due to the excipients.
Among the extremely rare adverse reactions, transient skin reactions at the place of application of the medicine (discoloration of the skin and local hair loss, itching and erythema) and general itching with alopecia can be observed.
In particular, reversible neurological symptoms (hyperesthesia, depression, nervousness), hypersalivation or vomiting were observed.
Dyspnea may occur.
Avoid overdose.
