Blackcurrant

It is indicated in inflammatory reactions of allergic origin of the respiratory system.

It behaves in the body like a natural cortisone, but without toxicity. It determines the increase in the level of corticosteroids, thus activating the endogenous response in inflammatory and allergic processes. Its anti-inflammatory action is due to the presence of anthocyanins and flavonoids - they have a vitamin P-like action and a regulatory effect on membrane permeability, potentiating the action of ascorbic acid and inhibiting the release of inflammatory substances.

brier

It has anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic action, useful also in case of recurrent inflammations, especially associated with an allergic-asthmatic component.

The contained vitamin C stimulates the bioavailability of carotenoids and flavonoids, their synergistic action with ascorbic acid enhancing the antioxidant effect.

Liquorice, hornbeam and black alder

Licorice contains glycyrrhizin, a saponin with anti-inflammatory, emollient and antispasmodic action, also having important modulatory roles: it stimulates the phagocytosis performed by neutrophils and the production of interferon gamma, being particularly indicated in the treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases (chronic bronchitis). Carpen is indicated in the treatment of sinusitis and, thanks to its spasmolytic and antitussive action, in chronic bronchitis, and alder is recommended in the treatment of rhinitis and all processes of inflammation of the rhinosinusal and tracheobronchial mucosa.

Nettle and mint

They support the health of the respiratory tract, having spasmolytic, decongestant, expectorant and balsamic action. Mint, thanks to menthol, is useful in the treatment of catarrhal diseases of the upper respiratory tract.

Ginkgo

Do the contained ginkgolides inhibit numerous reactions typical of allergic and inflammatory states? inhibits bronchoconstriction and edema induced by PAF, a chemical mediator involved in inflammatory, allergic and asthmatic reactions, inhibits neutrophil chemotaxis and degranulation and reduces IgE-mediated cytotoxicity. Their action is potentiated by the presence of flavonoids that determine spasmolytic, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and anti-asthmatic effects.
