Contraindications:

  • Not for use in puppies under 7 weeks of age.

Other Information:

  • To prevent heartworm infestation, treatment should begin one month before the start of mosquito season (the host that transmits the larvae) and should continue once a month until the end of mosquito season.
  • For intestinal tapeworms (cestodes), it is recommended to use internal antiparasitics as ADVOCATE does not act on them but only on roundworms and hookworms.
  • For demodicosis, 2 to 4 monthly treatments are necessary to achieve beneficial effects.
  • For mange (ear or sarcoptic), a single treatment is required for complete elimination of parasites and signs of disease.
