Product Description
Sticky Deruginol is a solution for removing rust. It contains active phosphating substances, corrosion inhibitors, surfactants, solvents and special additives.

It is used for:

removing rust and rust from metal surfaces
degreasing and pretreatment of these surfaces by phosphating for painting.
Method of application:

It is applied with a brush or by spraying on the metal surface (area) attacked by rust and which is to be treated or a bath is made in which the solution is placed and the parts to be treated are inserted.

On lightly rusted surfaces: Apply a continuous layer of product. After an hour, it is moistened with water, to favor the penetration of the solution into the rust layer and to ensure the duration and humidity necessary for a complete conversion.

On heavily rusted surfaces: Apply a more diluted first layer (2 parts Deruginol + 1 part water). After 3-4 hours, apply the second layer of undiluted Deruginol, and after 1-2 hours, moisten the surface with water. If the rust layer was too thick, the third layer of Deruginol can be applied under the same conditions as the second layer. The conversion is considered complete when the treated surface becomes uniform, black-blue in color (after 12-24 hours).

Application conditions:
The recommended application temperature for the environment and support is between 15 degrees Celsius and 30 degrees Celsius.
Do not work in conditions of high temperatures under the direct influence of sunlight, strong wind, fog, high humidity over 80% and danger of rain and frost.

Before applying the primer layer, wash the treated surface thoroughly with water, taking care to remove non-adherent salts. The primer is applied only after complete drying of the surface.

It is not recommended to apply the enamel layer directly on the surface treated with Deruginol, but only after applying at least one layer of primer.
