PARASINUS 20 TABLETS
Composition
The active substances are: paracetamol 500 mg, chlorpheniramine maleate 3 mg, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 30 mg. The other components are: pregelatinized starch, talc, povidone, stearic acid, magnesium stearate.
Therapeutic indications
PARASINUS is a nasal decongestant for systemic use.
PARASINUS is indicated in:
- prophylaxis and treatment of allergic and vasomotor rhinitis and for the symptomatic treatment of the common cold and flu (for the relief of sneezing, rhinorrhea, nasal and sinus congestion, fever, headache and muscle pain).
Doses and method of administration
Tablets will be administered half an hour before meals; it is recommended to swallow the tablets with a sufficient amount of liquid.
- Adults: 1-2 PARASINUS tablets 3 times a day (do not take more than 6 tablets/day and more than 2 tablets/take).
- Children between 12-15 years: 2-3 PARASINUS tablets per day (do not take more than 3 tablets per day and more than 1 tablet per intake).
- in case of renal insufficiency with creatinine clearance less than 10 ml/min, the interval between 2 doses must be at least 8 hours.
Precautions
This medicine contains paracetamol; do not use simultaneously with other medicines containing paracetamol.
Special warnings
Pregnancy, breastfeeding, fertility
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you might be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for recommendations before taking this medicine.
It is not recommended to take PARASINUS during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Driving vehicles and using machines
Due to the adverse reactions it has (for example, drowsiness, vertigo, accommodation disorders, etc.), the medicine can influence the ability to drive vehicles or use machines.
