Composition: Each film-coated tablet contains:

  • Active substances:

    • Milbemycin oxime 16 mg;
    • Praziquantel 40 mg.
  • Excipients:

    • Iron oxide red (E172) 0.20 mg;
    • Titanium dioxide (E171) 0.51 mg.

Indications: For cats: treatment of mixed infestations caused by immature and adult cestodes and nematodes from the following species:

  • Cestodes: Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Echinococcus multilocularis.

  • Nematodes: Ancylostoma tubaeforme, Toxocara cati.

Prevention of heartworm disease (Dirofilaria immitis), if concomitant treatment against cestodes is indicated.

Dosage and Administration: For oral administration. To ensure accurate dosing, it is recommended to weigh the cats.

  • Minimum recommended dose: 2 mg of Milbemycin oxime and 5 mg of praziquantel per kg of body weight, once daily by oral administration. The product should be administered with or after feeding to ensure optimal protection against heartworm disease.

Depending on the cat's body weight, the recommended dosage is as follows:

  • Body weight 2 – 4 kg: ½ film-coated tablet;
  • Body weight >4 – 8 kg: 1 film-coated tablet;
  • Body weight >8 – 12 kg: 1½ film-coated tablets.

If treatment against cestodes is also required, the product can be used in the prophylactic treatment of heartworm disease. In this case, the prevention period for heartworm disease is one month. For regular preventive treatment of heartworm disease, it is preferable to use a monovalent product.

Special precautions for use in animals: No clinical studies have been conducted on cats with severe physical debilitation or severely compromised kidney or liver function. The product is not recommended for these animals and can only be used after a risk/benefit assessment conducted by the responsible veterinarian.

Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the veterinary medicinal product to animals: In case of accidental ingestion of the tablets, especially in children, seek medical advice immediately and present the product leaflet or label to the doctor. Wash hands after use. Echinococcosis poses a risk to humans. In cases of echinococcosis, which must be reported internationally to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE), specific guidelines for treatment, monitoring, and safety of individuals must be followed, so consulting specialists from competent institutions is recommended.

Contraindications: Do not use in cats with a body weight of less than 2 kg. Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients.

Adverse Reactions: In very rare cases, after administering the combination of Milbemycin oxime and praziquantel, especially in young cats, systemic signs (lethargy), neurological signs (muscle tremors and ataxia), and/or gastrointestinal signs (vomiting and diarrhea) have been observed.

Target species: Cats.

Storage Conditions: Keep in the original packaging to protect from moisture. This veterinary medicinal product does not require special temperature conditions for storage. Halved film-coated tablets should be stored below 25°C in the original blister and used at the next administration. The blister should be kept in the cardboard box.

Shelf Life: The shelf life of the veterinary medicinal product, as packaged for sale: 2 years. The shelf life for halved film-coated tablets after first opening the primary package: 6 months.

Presentation: Film-coated tablet. Brownish-red, oval, biconvex film-coated tablets marked with a line on one side. The tablets can be divided into equal halves.
