DEHINEL PLUS
Febantel, Pyrantel Embonate, Praziquantel.

DECLARATION OF ACTIVE SUBSTANCES AND OTHER INGREDIENTS

Each tablet contains:

• Febantel: 150 mg
• Pyrantel Embonate: 144 mg
• Praziquantel: 50 mg

Other ingredients: corn starch, lactose monohydrate, povidone, sodium lauryl sulfate, microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate.

INDICATIONS
Treatment of mixed infestations of ascarids, nematodes, and cestodes in dogs.

Ascarids:

• Toxocara canis (adult and larval stages)
• Toxascaris leonina (adult and larval stages)

Nematodes:

• Uncinaria stenocephala (adult and larval stages)
• Ancylostoma caninum (adult and larval stages)
• Trichuris vulpis (adult stages)

Cestodes:

• Echinococcus granulosus
• Echinococcus multilocularis
• Dipylidium caninum
• Taenia spp.
• Multiceps multiceps
• Mesocestoides spp.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use in cases of known hypersensitivity to the active substances or any of the excipients.

TARGET SPECIES
Dogs.

DOSAGE FOR EACH SPECIES, ROUTE(S) OF ADMINISTRATION, AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
The recommended dose per kg of body weight is 15 mg febantel, 14.4 mg pyrantel embonate, and 5 mg praziquantel, i.e., 1 tablet per 10 kg of body weight.

Tablets should be administered based on the animal's body weight as per the following chart:

• Small dogs and puppies:
  Up to 5 kg body weight – ½ tablet
  Up to 10 kg body weight – 1 tablet

• Medium-sized dogs:
  Up to 15 kg body weight – 1 ½ tablets
  Up to 20 kg body weight – 2 tablets
  Up to 30 kg body weight – 3 tablets

• Large dogs:
  Up to 40 kg body weight – 4 tablets
  Up to 50 kg body weight – 5 tablets
  Up to 60 kg body weight – 6 tablets

The tablets can be placed at the base of the tongue or hidden in a piece of meat, sausage, or cheese. The medication is administered as a single dose.

No special diet is required when administering the product to dogs and puppies.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CORRECT ADMINISTRATION
For effective prophylactic treatment of parasitosis, it is recommended to treat 3-4 times a year. In diagnosed parasitosis, infested animals should be treated immediately with anthelmintics. In severe parasitic infestations, the treatment may be repeated after 2 weeks.
