Colief drops for children - Drops with lactase enzyme
Colief is a product that helps compensate for lactase deficiency in the baby's digestive system and, as a result, prevents colic and its treatment.
Added to the baby's normal milk, Colief will considerably reduce the level of lactose, turning it into glucose and galactose, before it is fed.
Studies have shown that the plan hours could be significantly reduced, when the milk drunk by the infant is treated with Colief.
Colief is an enzyme (lactase) and is destroyed by heat. as a result, once opened, it must be kept in the refrigerator at an average temperature, without freezing, and when administered, the baby's milk must be warm, not cold or hot.
Administration method:
It can be used from birth. Up to 3-4 months, it is used at every meal of the infant, at which time the symptoms associated with colic should disappear.
Then you should be able to gradually remove the Colief paintings, going from their initial administration at every meal, to alternate meals, and finally just once a day until they are completely withdrawn.
If it happens that at some point the signs of discomfort reappear, return to the previous dosage.
Lactation:
Put a few spoons of breast milk in a container;
Add 4 drops of Colief;
Administer the contents of the baby in a sterilized spoon;
Continue breastfeeding normally.
Other methods:
Colief formula in milk:
Prepare the milk formula according to the manufacturer's instructions;
Add 4 drops of Colief to warm, not hot, milk;
Stir the milk from time to time and after half an hour, feed the child;
Throw away the remaining food.
If the formula milk must be prepared in advance:
Prepare the milk formula carefully, according to the manufacturer's instructions;
Add 2 drops of Colief to warm milk and keep it in the refrigerator for 4 hours;
It is heated to the correct drinking temperature;
Throw away the remaining food.
If you use ready-made milk formula:
heat the food until it reaches a medium temperature
Add 4 drops of Colief
Wait 30 min, shaking the container occasionally
Feed the baby
Throw away the rest of the unused food
