COLDREX COLD AND COUGH 10 SAVES
Composition. The active substances are paracetamol, phenylephrine hydrochloride and guaifenesin.
Therapeutic indications.
Coldrex is a remedy used for the short-term symptomatic relief of flu, febrile conditions, chills and common colds, including headache, sore throat, muscle discomfort and pain, nasal congestion, sinusitis as well as acute nasal pain and catarrh, associated with it.
This medicine should only be used if you have all the following symptoms - pain and/or fever, stuffy nose and productive cough.
Doses and method of administration.
For oral administration.
Adults, elderly and teenagers aged 12 and over
The recommended dose is 1 envelope every 4-6 hours, if necessary. Do not take more than 4 sachets (4 doses) in a 24-hour period.
Use in children and adolescents
It is not administered to children under 12 years of age.
Precautions.
Do not take this medicine:
- together with other medicines containing paracetamol, decongestants (for nasal congestion or stuffy nose) or combinations for cough and cold,
- if you are taking or have taken in the last two weeks medicines called monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), usually used to treat depression.
Special warnings.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant or breastfeeding, ask your doctor or pharmacist for recommendations before taking any medicine. This medicine should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding, except in cases where the doctor considers this strictly necessary.
Driving vehicles and using machines
This medicine may cause dizziness. If you are affected by them, do not drive or use machinery.
