Cerviron® is a product in the form of ovules, with local therapeutic action, indicated in the therapy of atrophic, aerobic and traumatic vaginitis, as well as in the treatment of cervical lesions.
Cerviron® contains substances with beneficial effects for a targeted action in the treatment of acute and chronic vulvovaginitis of aerobic, atrophic or mechanical etiology, caused by changes in the vaginal pH or changes in the vaginal microbiota. These properties are due to the cumulative effects of its active compounds. The low concentrations in which the active compounds are found avoid possible unwanted local effects, restoring the initial vaginal ecosystem. The beneficial effects are based on the phytotherapeutic action of 4 medicinal plants, as well as on the topical action of 3 other compounds (hexylresorcinol, collagen and bismuth subgallate).

Qualitative and quantitative composition:
One egg contains: bismuth subgallate, hydrolyzed collagen, Thyme extract (Thymus vulgaris), Hydrastis Canadensis extract, Calendula officinalis extract, Turmeric extract (Curcuma longa), hexylresorcinol, semi-synthetic glycerides, lanolin, silicon dioxide colloidal.

How it is presented: Homogeneous ovules, yellow to intense yellow, without undissolved particles or air bubbles. Each box contains 2 blisters with 5 eggs each; the weight of an egg is 2g.

What it is and what it is used for:
Cerviron ovule is a product with astringent, re-epithelializing, protective properties for damaged vaginal mucosa that can be used as an adjuvant in the treatment of gynecological conditions without an inflammatory or microbial component and that favors the restoration of normal vaginal flora.
Cerviron ovule has a content of active principles that give it beneficial properties in the treatment of non-infectious vulvovaginitis and cervical erosions. The ovum melts at the level of the vaginal mucosa forming a cream that ensures the uniform dispersion of the active substances contained and acts as a protective barrier with an astringent effect, favoring the re-epithelialization of the damaged tissue and the restoration of the initial colpoecosystem without affecting the D-derlein bacilli, from the vagina, which creates favorable conditions for their development.

Indications: CERVIRON ovule is a medical device intended to be used as an adjuvant in the treatment of acute and chronic vulvovaginitis of traumatic etiology, vulvovaginitis caused by changes in vaginal pH and vaginal flora, atrophic vulvovaginitis, from traumatic cervical lesions . It favors the healing and re-epithelialization processes, reduces the proliferation of endogenous pathogens.

When they should not be used
Do not use Cerviron ovule in case of hypersensitivity to any of the product's components.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Due to the absence of sufficient clinical data, it is recommended to consult a specialist in the case of administering Cerviron - ova to pregnant women. No precautions are necessary in case of use during breastfeeding.
Effects on the ability to drive vehicles and use machines
None of the product components influence the ability to drive vehicles or use machines.

Interactions with other products:
The interactions with other products are not known, therefore it is recommended to consult the doctor before using Cerviron ovules together with other medical devices or drugs for vaginal use.

Doses and method of administration:
One ovum is administered intravaginally, preferably in the evening, before going to bed or according to the medical prescription. The use of ova starts on the first day after the end of menstruation. The duration of administration is 10 days per month or according to the doctor's instructions. The improvement may appear in the first month of treatment. It can be repeated for several months, until healing or to consolidate and maintain the favorable effects obtained.

Warnings and special precautions for use
Considering the composition of the product, in general, no precautions are necessary. Sanitize your hands and intimate area well before administering the egg.

Eggs do not divide.

Side effects

There are no known cases of overdose. The contained substances are not absorbed systemically, they are eliminated naturally from the body.

Expiration, storage and disposal
Store at temperatures below 25ºC, in the original packaging, away from direct sunlight. The validity period written on the packaging refers to the product stored under the conditions provided by the manufacturer. The medical device must not be disposed of with water or household waste.
