The collar is removed from the protective bag only before use. Open the collar and check that there is no plastic residue left on the inside of the collar. Fasten the collar around the animal's neck without tightening too tightly (as a guide it should be possible to insert 2 fingers between the collar and the animal's neck. Pull the free end through the buckle and cut off any excess length that exceeds 2 cm.
The collar must be worn continuously throughout the 8-month protection period and must be removed after the treatment period.
Check periodically and adjust the collar if necessary, especially when the kittens/puppies are growing rapidly.
This collar is designed with a secure closure mechanism. In the unlikely event that a cat is caught, the cat's own strength is sufficient to widen the collar and allow a quick release.
