COMPOSITION
1 ml contains:

PHARMACOTHERAPEUTIC ACTION
EVOMEC, through its active component - ivermectin - acts on both endoparasites and ectoparasites, in cattle, sheep, goats and pigs. Ivermectin is a derivative of avermectin, isolated from the fermentation of an actinomycete called Streptomyces avermitilis.

TARGET SPECIES

DOSAGE, ROUTE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
EVOMEC is administered subcutaneously in the following doses, depending on the species and weight:

CATTLE:
1 ml of EVOMEC is administered for 50 kg of body weight.

For the prophylaxis of hypodermosis: 0.1 ml EVOMEC per animal (1 mg ivermectin), between October and December.

SHEEP, GOATS:
Administer 0.5 ml of EVOMEC per 25 kg of body weight.

In ruminants, the treatment is applied twice a year (spring and autumn) in a single dose, and in the case of scabies, the treatment is repeated every 10-14 days.

PIGS:
1 ml of EVOMEC is administered subcutaneously on the sides of the neck for 33 kg of body weight:

Recommended treatment program for pigs:
1. Breeding animals:
Sows are treated 7-14 days before farrowing, to reduce the risk of piglet infestation;
Sows are treated 7-14 days before lambing and also 7-14 days before farrowing.
Veins must be treated twice a year. The frequency of treatments depends on the exposure to the infestation.
2. Animals for fattening:
Before transfer to the fattening facility, all pigs must be treated.
In the parasite control program, it is important to treat the entire herd of animals.
In case of reinfestation, ask the veterinarian for advice on the frequency of product administration and the need to repeat the treatment.

CONTRAINDICATIONS, PRECAUTIONS AND ADVERSE REACTIONS
Do not inject intramuscularly or intravenously. Do not administer in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Transient edema may occur at the inoculation site. It can be used during pregnancy and lactation. The product must not be mixed in the same syringe with other injectable solutions, to avoid precipitation.

WAITING TIME
Meat and organs: Cattle - 49 days; goats, pigs – 28 days; sheep – 21 days
It is not authorized for use in lactating animals that produce milk for human consumption.

STORAGE CONDITIONS
Keep at a temperature below 25°C. Avoid freezing. Protect from light. To be kept in the original packaging

MODE OF PRESENTATION
Brown glass bottles with rubber stoppers and metal caps each containing 10 ml, 20 ml, 50 ml, 100 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml of solution.

INDICATIONS
In cattle, it is administered in the treatment and control of infestations with:
– Gastrointestinal worms (larval and adult forms): Ostertagia spp., Haemonchus spp., Trichostrongylus spp., Cooperia spp., Oesophagostomum radiatum, Nematodirus spp., Strongyloides papillosus, Bunostomum phlebotomum, Toxocara vitulorum
– Lungworms: Dictyocaulus viviparus
– Myases: Hypoderma bovis (on migrating larvae from the L1 stage), Dermatobia hominis
– Lice: Linognathus vituli, Haematopinus eurystemus, Solenopote capillatus, Damilinia bovis
– Mites: Sarcoptes scabie var bovis, Chorioptes bovis, Psoroptes bovis
– Ticks: Ixodes spp., Rhipicephalus spp., Boophilus microplus
In sheep and goats, it is administered in the treatment and control of infestations with:
– Gastrointestinal worms: Haemonchus contortus, Ostertagia Spp., Trichostrongylus axei, Nematodirus Spp., Cooperia curticei, Oesophagostum Spp., Chabertia ovina, Trichuris ovis, Strongyloides papillosus, Gaigeria pachyscelis
– Lungworms: Dictyocaulus filiaria, Protstrongylus rufescens
– Nasal worms: Oestrus ovis
– Mites: Psoroptes ovis, Sarcoptes scabie
In pigs, it is administered in the treatment and control of infestations with:
– Gastrointestinal worms: Hyostrongylus rubidus, Ascaris suum, Oesophagostomum Spp., Strongyloides ransomi, Trichuris suis
– Lungworms: Metastrongylus Spp.
– Kidney worms: Stephanurus dentatus
– Lice: Haemotopinus suis
– Mites: Sarcoptes scabie var. climbing
